Read on for some reasons to eat chili in moderation every day:

15 Support of the immune system

There is a lot of Vitamin C in chili peppers, just 1-2 medium-sized peppers are enough for your daily recommended doses. It strengthens the body's immune system and protects us from colds.

15 Acceleration of metabolism

Chili peppers are very often included in the diet of people trying to lose weight. Regular consumption of chilli can speed up the metabolism by up to 20%, so if you are trying to lose weight - definitely include chili in your favorite recipes and eating habits.

15 Cancer prevention

Capsaicin protects the body from cancer. Studies have shown the effectiveness of capsaicin against prostate, lung, pancreatic and stomach cancer. Capsaicin molecules bind to cancer cells and this causes the self-destructive process of these cells.

15 Chili reduces the sweet tooth

Peppers to a large extent have a feeling of satiety and support the digestive system. With long-term use, it reduces the desire for sweet foods. They also help diabetics normalize insulin and lower blood sugar. Hot peppers are also a mild natural laxative when consumed in large quantities. The capsaicin contained in chili peppers has an effect on fat burning, spicy foods generally reduce appetite and, by increasing body temperature, force the body to work, i.e. to burn calories.

15 Lowers cholesterol

Capsaicin has another excellent ability, it works to regulate blood cholesterol. It dissolves and thus subsequently helps to excrete cholesterol from the body. Another ability is the beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system, thanks to which capsaicin reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

15 Antioxidant and mood enhancer

Chili peppers are full of antioxidants vitamin C and beta-carotene. More importantly, they are very positive for the psyche. Chili peppers can serve as weak antidepressants. The body responds to capsaicin by increasing the production of the hormones endorphin and serotonin, which are known as happy hormones.

15 Chili peppers keep the heart healthy

Another ability is the beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system, thanks to which capsaicin reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes. They have a high content of potassium, which is a mineral with many functions in the human body. Potassium combined with folic acid helps reduce your chances of developing heart disease. In addition, potassium also helps to relax your blood vessels, which greatly facilitates the flow of blood in the body.

15 Chili peppers support the growth of red blood cells

In addition to maintaining heart health, chili peppers also help in the formation of new blood cells. The reason for this is the fact that chili peppers are also rich in copper and iron. As such, they are able to treat symptoms of anemia and fatigue. Chili peppers also contain folic acid, which is key to fighting anemia and making healthy red blood cells. This is especially valuable for pregnant women, as folic acid deficiency could cause birth defects in newborns.

15 Chili peppers help relieve migraines and joint pain

Capsaicin from chili peppers has also shown potential in the treatment of headaches and migraines. According to the study, 18 patients diagnosed with headache were treated with intranasal capsaicin. As a result, 13 patients were relieved of their pain completely. Most of the other patients had mild relief and only one patient had no relief at all. Researchers have found that capsaicin desensitizes (numbs) the trigeminal nerve and reduces CGRP (neuropeptide) - which are responsible for triggering migraine pain. Capsaicin binds to pain receptors and produces a burning sensation that can desensitize pain receptors over time. In this way, capsaicin acts as a pain reliever. It can usually be used to treat shingles, joint pain.

15 Chili peppers maintain healthy skin and hair

Vitamin C in chili peppers not only strengthens the immune system, but also creates and maintains collagen, which is a key protein found in healthy hair and skin. Specifically, chili pepper is an excellent natural ingredient that you can add to beauty treatments. Chili pepper can be mixed into a face mask with skin inflammation. It can also treat wrinkles, acne scars and dark spots. Cayenne pepper stimulates blood flow, leading to flawless skin.
